Even in my wildest dreams I couldn't make this stuff up; nor would I want too. I didn't ask for the testing, it just kind of happened at the request of other professionals who had an inkling that something was more than a little different.

In real life, I don't bring it up unless someone asks.

Both of my children are considered Twice Exceptional (2E)- no, I didn't make that term up. They also have disabilities on top of being gifted. Cameron has Autism, Hyperlexia, and SPD. Sarah Hazel has SPD and Auditory Processing Difficulties, and possibly more.

Because of their exceptional abilities and disabilities, they have a tough road ahead of them. I'll be right by their sides, fighting every step of the way....
